Scaffolding the Story‐telling Abilities of a Group of Pupils with Learning Difficulties Using Computers: A Case Study

Abstract: This paper reports the findings of a case study carried out in a special school catering for pupils with a wide range of learning difficulties. It looks at the way a group of Year 1 and 2 pupils responded to a series of teacher-planned and conducted story-telling sessions using pictures and a piece of commercially available software designed to provide a framework for storywriting.
