Scale effects of topographic ruggedness on precipitation over Qinghai‐Tibet Plateau

Abstract: Due to the complex topography in mountainous areas, the pattern of precipitation is impacted by the topographic ruggedness (TR) that is characterized from Digital Elevation Model and thus scale-dependent.
