Scaling-Up for the Counter-Rotating Twin Screw Extrusion of Polymers

Abstract: A novel and original computer scaling-up system for the counter-rotating twin screw extrusion of polymers was developed. In the system, each scaling parameter (scaling criterion) may be considered as an objective function to be minimized for the single parameters or the functional relationships along the length of the screw.
