Scalings of the tidally induced bottom boundary layer in a shallow sea under a surface heating

Abstract: We have investigated properties of the tidally-induced bottom boundary layer (TBBL) in a shallow sea under a surface heating, by scale argument and DNS (Direct Numerical Simulation) experiment.
