Abstract:Light, X‐ray, and neutron scattering techniques are complementary tools for the investigation of polymer structure and dynamics. This article introduces the working principles of static and dynamic light scattering (SLS/DLS), in combination with small‐angle X‐ray scattering and neutron scattering (SAXS/SANS), and their applications to studies of polymer structure and dynamics. General scattering theories based on momentum and energy transfer are introduced, focusing on the concepts of interference phenomenon a… Show more

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
