Scattering Matrix of a Jump of Medium Parameters in a Rectangular Waveguide

Abstract: For a rectangular waveguide, a generalized scattering matrix of a jump of medium parameters has been obtained under condition that the field has one variation along the direction perpendicular to E-plane. The configuration is considered as a model of a plane interface in the theory of piecewise homogeneous E-plane structures.
