Nuclear reactions induced by helium capture, 3a"'-7Cl2+r etc., are investigated. The results are applied to the study of the variation of chemical abundances and the energy generation in the hydrogen exhausted stellar core with suitable physical conditions. The reactions, CI2 + C12 etc., are also discussed. The results obtained are useful to study the stellar evolution in its later stage.t) The name Kikuta has been changed to Ohmura. **) A study on the same problem has been done also by S. Hayakawa, C. Hayashi, M. lmoto and K.
