The history of the University started with the great Fatima al-Fihriya establishing Jamia Al Qarawiyyin, the first institution for higher education back in 895 CE in the ancient city of Fes. This started the creation of more establishments for spreading academic teachings. This study aims at highlighting the part that North African Studies play in the decolonization process of the Moroccan University Curriculum. This study uses a Quantitative Research design. A survey distributed to university professors from different public Moroccan universities. The participants advocate for a curriculum reform that includes North African Studies in the Moroccan University.
