Abstract:This 90‐minute panel is structured to engage the ASIS&T community in discussion of the methods which LIS researchers and educators are using to interrogate, develop, understand and teach about and with artificial intelligence. In particular, this panel will invite the audience to join in an open fishbowl to surface how people in LIS are engaging with artificial intelligence, to identify the most pressing gaps and needs, and to lay the initial groundwork for an AI research agenda for LIS.
