Abstract:A dual‐polarized three‐dimensional absorptive frequency selective transmission (AFST) structure consisting of bent metallic strips embedded with chip‐resistors, and a parallel plate waveguide has been introduced. The structure exhibits two wide absorption bands which flank both sides of the passband, and each absorption band contains two reflection zeros contributing to the wideband performance. An equivalent circuit model is derived to investigate the design concept. A prototype is fabricated and measured, an… Show more

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
