Abstract:BACKGROUND
Hollow carbon nanospheres (HCNS) were successfully prepared using silica as a template. After that, elemental sulfur particles were grown in situ on the surface of the hollow carbon nanospheres by a solution method to prepare HCNS/S composites.
RESULTS
The morphology and crystal structure of the samples were characterized by scanning electron microscopy and X‐ray diffraction. The electrochemical performance of the samples was tested by constant charge and discharge, cyclic voltammetry and electroche… Show more
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
