Single‐polarized wideband array antenna of all‐metal structure with modified TSA elements

Abstract: This article presents a wideband wide‐angle tapered slot array (TSA) antenna with no grating lobes in the 6–18 GHz band and the required scan range (azimuth angle ≤ |42.5°|, elevation angle ≤ |22.5°|). The unit element in the array antenna is a modified type of the existing TSA elements. We studied the various parameters for the proposed structure to investigate their effect.
