Scrambled Voice Frequency Signal Transmission in an Amplify and Forward Relaying Based STBC Encoded Cooperative MIMO-OFDM System

Abstract: In this paper, a comprehensive study has been made on performance assessment of a single relayed cooperative wireless communication system under implementation of OFDM aided MIMO technology. This paper provides a new insight on system performance with proposed STBC encoded MIMO-OFDM radio interface technology, four channel equalization techniques (ZF, MMSE, ZF-SIC and MMSE-SIC) and three digital modulation schemes (BPSK, QPSK and QAM). Simulation results show that the STBC encoded single relayed MIMO-OFDM coop… Show more

“…Intelligent reflecting surface (IRS) is a relatively new wireless communication method that utilizes an array of reflective surfaces that are changed to direct the signal wave towards a particular user or receiver [97,98]. In contrast, relaying is used to transmit data from one source to another through a secondary source [99,100]. IRS is a radical and game-changing technique for achieving future spectrum and energy efficiency in wireless communications.…”

“…The following is the equation for the signal received , where and have been assumed as AWGN for the transmitted signal and channel matrix, respectively. (11) After factorizing the by (unitary matrix) and (upper triangular matrix) we find as follows [25,26], (12) , , 0 , Additionally, the product of the received signal, , and gives, (13) Here, refers to zero-mean complex Gaussian random vector [27], where, and are statistically of equivalent properties. Therefore, (13) can be rewritten as, (14) , ,…”
