Screenic (Re)orientations: Desktop, Tabletop, Tablet, Booklet, Touchscreen, Etc.

Abstract: This essay discusses the orientations of the screen both as work surface and as display surface by focusing on the shifts from and to the horizontal and vertical axes of the screenic space.
