“…The increase in Mn uptake with increasing salt levels in the current study is consistent with the literature (Maas et al 1972;Chavan and Karadge 1980;Martinez et al 1987;Alpaslan et al 1998). There are reports indicating that PGPB can promote Mn uptake (Xue et al 2011). In this study, it was observed that Ba had a salt stress-reducer effect only at 50 mM NaCl, but this level did not increase Mn uptake compared to the control or at other salt levels.…”
