Screw Fixation as the Primary and Definitive Treatment of an Isolated Uncommon Fracture of the Anterior Margin of the Distal Tibia

Abstract: Tibial plafond fractures constitute one of the most challenging fracture types while they are commonly associated with soft tissue damage and severe bone comminution. We present the clinical outcomes of screw fixation as the initial and definitive treatment of an isolated uncommon fracture of the anterior margin of the distal tibia.
