Scurvy in the Context of End-Stage Liver Disease

Abstract: The authors present a case of scurvy in a 38-year-old woman with a history of alcohol abuse and end-stage liver disease. Their case demonstrates that nutritional deficiencies are a concern in patients affected with alcoholic liver disease. The history, symptoms, and treatment of scurvy are also discussed.
