SDF2L1 Inhibits Cell Proliferation, Migration, and Invasion in Nasopharyngeal Carcinoma

Abstract: The purpose of this study was to explore the relationship between stromal cell-derived factor 2-like 1 (SDF2L1) and nasopharyngeal carcinoma (NPC). 12 NPC tissues and 12 chronic nasopharyngitis tissues were involved in our study. Quantitative real-time PCR (qRT-PCR) and Western Blot were utilized to detect the expression of SDF2L1. Besides, immunofluorescence analysis was utilized to determine the protein expression of 97 paraffin-embedded NPC tissues and 58 nasopharyngitis tissues. Biological functional exper… Show more

“…After incubation of the tissues with anti-RPL14(eL14) overnight, the tissue specimens were incubated with biotin-labeled goat anti-rabbit secondary antibody at room temperature for 30 minutes, followed by DAB color development for 5 min and hematoxylin staining for 1 minute. The immunohistochemical staining result was judged by the cell staining intensity and the percentage of positive stained cells [ 21 ].…”

“…SHCBP1 is known as a member of Shc family, which has been found to be important in the regulation of apoptosis and drug resistancein mammalian cells [36,39,40] . Dysreglation of Shcs, leading to uncontrolled proliferation, is a characteristic of human cancers.…”

“…Unfortunately, the early diagnosis method of NPC still has its limitations in clinical practice, resulting in the majority cases of NPC being diagnosed at the advanced stage, which often leads to some regrettable outcomes. Therefore, early diagnosis of NPC is of great importance for disease control, finding new disease-related biomarkers for the early diagnosis of NPC is ever-increasing necessary [9,10]. Until now, MS has been extensively applied in proteomics analysis with the advantages of rapid analysis speed and high sensitivity [11,12].…”
