Search for heavy and excited leptons at LEP

Abstract: New particle searches are ongoing at the Large Electron Positron Collider (LEP) running yearly at increasing centre-of-mass energies. The searches for heavy stable and unstable leptons performed by the four LEP experiments (ALEPH, DELPHI, L3 and OPAL) are summarised, followed by a description of the searches for excited leptons.
