Search for Potential Cholinesterase Inhibitors Among SubstitutedPyrrolidines and Piperazines.-A wide range of O-acyl derivatives of hydroxypropylpyrrolidines and -piperazines as well as several succinates, adipates, sulfanilates and tartrates thereof are prepared, all of them possessing anticholinesterase activity. In general, the cis-substituted pyrrolidines are more active than their trans-analogues. The best results are obtained for arylcontaining pyrrolidine derivatives like (IIIc) and (Va). -(KLOCHKOVA, I.
