Search for sharp and smooth spectral signatures of μνSSM gravitino dark matter with Fermi-LAT

Abstract: The µνSSM solves the µ problem of supersymmetric models and reproduces neutrino data, simply using couplings with right-handed neutrinos ν's. Given that these couplings break explicitly R parity, the gravitino is a natural candidate for decaying dark matter in the µνSSM. In this work we carry out a complete analysis of the detection of µνSSM gravitino dark matter through γ-ray observations. In addition to the two-body decay producing a sharp line, we include in the analysis the three-body decays producing a sm… Show more

“…One of the consequences is that there is no lightest stable SUSY particle anymore. Nevertheless, the model can still provide a dark matter candidate with a gravitino that has a life time longer than the age of the observable universe [22][23][24][25]. Since the lightest particle beyond the SM is not stable, it can carry electrical charge or even be coloured.…”

“…As explained in Sec. 2, how the model reproduces the correct neutrino masses and mixing angles has been intensively addressed in the literature [19,34,35,64,12]. Although the parameters in Eq.…”

In addition to the two-body decay producing an anisotropic sharp line, the three-body decays producing a smooth spectral signature were included in the analysis.…”
