Abstract: The nutrient-scarce, warm, and high-salinity Kuroshio current has a profound impact on both the marine ecology of the northwestern Pacific Ocean and the global climate. This study aims to reveal the seasonal dynamics of picoplankton in the subtropical Kuroshio current.
