“…If we accept that the similarities of a sebaceous lymphadenoma to Warthin's tumour are such that they may have a common mode of origin, as has been suggested by previous authors (Kleinsasser; Assor;Maza, Schwartz and Soto, 1971;Wasan), then it would appear that the tumour arises from salivary ducts that have been included within a parotid lymph-node and have undergone sebaceous metaplasia. The presence of a capsule and subcapsular sinus in our case would support this theory of origin.…”
