Second‐order design sensitivity analysis using diagonal hyper‐dual numbers

Abstract: Although sensitivity analysis provides valuable information for structural optimization, it is often difficult to use the Hessian in large models since many methods still suffer from inaccuracy, inefficiency, or limitation issues.
