Abstract

The chapter delves into the necessity and outcomes of secondary resection following transurethral resection of bladder tumor (TURBT). Furthermore, the chapter highlights the importance of timing between primary and secondary resections and explores various factors affecting the accuracy and success of TURBT operation.Transitioning to innovative tumor visualization methods, the chapter introduces Photodynamic Diagnosis (PDD), Narrow Band Imaging (NBI), the IMAGE1 S™ imaging system, and nanoparticle-based techniques.
