Abstract:From a fresh root of Trema guineensis (Ulmaceae), endophytic fungi were isolated, among which a taxon belonging to the new species Diaporthe cameroonensis. This strain was fermented in shake flask batch cultures and the broth was extracted with ethyl acetate.
