Secondary Victimizations in Missing Child Events

Abstract: This paper examines the incidence and nature of secondary victimizations (attempted and completed physical assault, sexual assault, and robbery) in a population of missing children (nonfamily abducted, family abducted, runaway/ thrownaway, general/benign missing).
