Sectoral, tongue-shaped inflammatory posterior corneal stromal debris with adjacent scleritis and episcleritis of infectious etiologies

Abstract: We report an interesting corneal finding of sectoral, tongue-shaped posterior corneal stromal debris with adjacent episcleral inflammation in one case and scleral inflammation in the other case. With appropriate antibiotic treatment, the stromal debris consolidated, organized, and resulted in posterior corneal stromal scarring.
