Secular trends and risk factors of overweight and obesity among Kuwaiti adults: National Nutrition Surveillance System data from 1998 to 2009

Abstract: Objective: To determine trends in prevalence of overweight and obesity in Kuwaiti adults, and to examine their association with selected sociodemographic and lifestyle factors. Design: Analysis of cross-sectional population survey data from the Kuwait National Nutrition Surveillance System. Setting: Social and health facilities in Kuwait.
