TCP (Transmission Control Protocol), is a reliable connection oriented end-to-end protocol. It contains within itself, mechanisms for ensuring reliability by requiring the receiver to acknowledge the segments that it receives. The network is not perfect and a small percentage of packets are lost enroute, either due to network error or due to the fact that there is congestion in the network and the routers are dropping packets. TCP ensures reliability by starting a timer whenever it sends a segment. If it does not receive an acknowledgement from the receiver within the ‘time-out’ interval then it retransmits the segment. In this paper a review of various TCP is carried out. There are a number of TCP variants for application in the management of network efficiency in terms of network congestion and transmission efficiency. These variants include: - TCP Tahoe, TCP Reno, TCP New Reno, TCP Vegas, TCP SACK, TCP FACK, TCP Asym, TCP RBP, Full TCP and TCP CUBIC. Therefore, the main objective of this paper is to study the tcp types on the network performance variances. All have different features and advantages but with maximal throughput as main objective, which are termed as the clones of TCP, have been incorporated into TCP/IP protocol for handling congestion efficiently in different network scenarios.

The security issues surrounding cloud computing, a quickly developing technology that is now essential to both personal and business computing, are thoroughly examined in this study. Cloud computing presents serious security risks that require careful attention, despite its many advantages such as scalability, cost-effectiveness, and flexibility. In-depth discussions of a number of important security topics are covered in this paper, including network security, access control, data breaches, legal and regulatory framework compliance, and new threats and vulnerabilities. The paper illuminates the complexities of data and application security in the cloud environment by thoroughly examining these subjects. The study also looks at actual case studies to show how security breaches in cloud computing affect things and how to fix them. The study intends to offer insightful analyses of security challenges with practical implications by examining these cases and providing lessons learned from incidents that have happened in various cloud computing scenarios. Our comprehension of the complex nature of security threats and the tactics used to counter and mitigate them is improved by looking closely at these cases. This study looks into the potential benefits of cloud security enhancements from emerging technologies like artificial intelligence and machine learning, in addition to identifying existing challenges. The research investigates the potential benefits of these technologies in terms of automated security responses, adaptive access controls, and proactive threat detection. Cloud environments may be able to improve their security posture against new and sophisticated threats by utilizing the powers of AI and machine learning. Furthermore, by projecting future trends and challenges in cloud security, this paper offers a forward-looking view of the changing field. Comprehending these possible obstacles is crucial to creating proactive and flexible security approaches that can successfully tackle the ever-changing landscape of cloud computing. This paper's ultimate objective is to offer insightful information about practical approaches and industry best practices for safeguarding cloud environments. The research relevance is determined by the ever-increasing threat of cyberattacks and the need to protect defence systems from these threats through the introduction of integrated computer technologies. The study aims to develop strategies for ensuring digital security in the defence sector, addressing the impact of information technology. The study analyses the impact of integrated computer technologies on information security in the military sphere, develops cybersecurity strategies and analyses examples of their application in the defence sector. The study determined that integrated computer technologies are substantial in improving cybersecurity in the defence sector. The analysis showed that they can effectively detect, analyse and respond to cyber threats, ensuring reliable protection of critical information resources. In addition, the digital security strategies developed addressed the specifics of the defence sector, helping to improve protection against cyberattacks and ensuring immediate action in the event of a threat. The resulting strategies for improving the digital security of the defence sector consider the specifics of the industry, contributing to increased resilience against cyber threats and ensuring prompt action in the event of potential attacks. The most significant examples of the introduction of these technologies, namely data mining, big data, distributed blockchain technology, analytical methods of cyber-analysis and cyber-physical systems, have demonstrated their effectiveness in real-world conditions, contributing to the security and resilience of defence systems. The results show the importance of information technology in improving cybersecurity in the defence sector. This confirms the need for systematic implementation of such technologies to ensure effective protection against modern cyber threats
