Abstract: Mangroves in the Arabian Gulf provide several biological, ecological, and environmental services. They are also considered among the largest carbon sinks. However, mangroves along the coastlines of the Arabian Gulf have degraded in recent decades, mainly due to urbanization and coastal development.
