Abstract:BACKGROUND AND PURPOSE: Accurate segmentation of brain metastases is important for treatment planning and evaluating response. The aim of this study was to assess the performance of a semiautomated algorithm for brain metastases segmentation using Background Layer Statistics (BLAST).
