Seismic events can be a threat to critical infrastructure, including elevated storage reservoirs. This review delves into aspects of assessing the seismic performance of elevated storage reservoirs by analyzing research studies and their findings. The review investigates loads on elevated storage tanks the impact of uplift forces the dynamic pressure experienced by buried tanks and how elevated water tanks respond to seismic forces. The goal is to uncover insights identify research gaps and highlight the significance of these studies in ensuring the safety and reliability of elevated storage reservoirs located in areas prone, to earthquakes.
