To rapidly evaluate the seismic resilience of the bridges under construction, the construction stage seismic resilience evaluation method was proposed. Based on a case bridge of continuous girder with the cast-in-place cantilever construction method, the seismic resilience of bridges at different construction stages was researched and compared. The bridge model was established by utilizing the construction stage module in the Midas Civil finite element modelling software. The functional losses of the bridges at different construction stages were computed. The three dimensional functional surfaces of Function-Time-PGA (Peak Ground Acceleration) were drawn. The resilience indexes at different construction stages with different seismic PGAs were compared, the resilience indexes with and without consideration of the delay recovery period were compared and analysed. The research results show: 1) in the control period, the functional loss is directly proportional to the PGA, but the function and resilience indexes are inversely proportional to the PGA; 2) the seismic resilience indexes of bridges at different construction stages are vastly different; 3) the resilience indexes with and without consideration of the delay recovery period are different; for the case bridge with the delay recovery period to recovery period ratio of 20%, the difference of the resilience indexes with and without consideration of the delay recovery period can reach 17% when the seismic PGA is 1.0 g. This paper provides a new method to evaluate the seismic resilience of construction stages, and it can be used to provide suggestions for the seismic damage evaluation and post-seismic recovery scheme.

At present, highway and bridge projects in China are in full swing. In the process of multi project construction of highway and bridge, it is of great significance to study the project scheduling. On the basis of fully analyzing the specific characteristics of multi projects in highway and bridge construction, this paper studies the problem of “fixed duration resource balance (RB)” based on genetic algorithm (GA). Combined with the specific characteristics of multi projects in highway and bridge construction, it establishes an optimization model, and proposes the process of GA to solve the problem of multi RB in construction projects. When considering the multi project resource balance optimization (RBO) problem of highway and bridge construction, the GA is used to solve the problem. The results show that the model is effective for the multi project RB problem of highway and bridge construction. At the same time, it proves that it has great advantages to consider the RB of multiple projects of highway and bridge construction from the new perspective of resource scheduling cost.

In order to address the difficulty in determining the seismic damage probability of continuous girder bridges under construction, the seismic vulnerability analysis method of the construction state is proposed in this study. Firstly, taking a long-span prestressed concrete composite box girder bridge with corrugated steel webs (OSW) as an example, the finite element models (FEMs) of dynamic calculation in different phases of cantilever construction are simulated by OpenSEES. Secondly, by selecting reasonable seismic waves and seismic intensity measures, the non-linear time-history analysis is carried out, followed by the demand parameters and damage indexes suitable for the construction state proposed. Finally, the probabilistic seismic demand model (PSDA) of the continuous box girder bridge during the construction stage is constructed by using the “cloud method”, and the seismic vulnerability curves of the piers and temporary bearings are established to evaluate the seismic performance during the construction stage. The results indicate that the damage probability of piers and temporary bearings increases with the progress of construction. The initial formation of the cantilever structure and the sudden change in the size of the construction segmental girder correspond to a high probability of damage, and seismic protection measures should be strengthened during this construction state. Moreover, significantly higher damage probability of the components under construction compared to the completed bridge after it is built.
