Abstract:Introduction: The palatine tonsils are secondary lymphoid organs where immune processes occur, influencing the development of a targeted cellular and humoral response. The diseased tonsils are subject to immunological imbalances, including the activity of pro-inflammatory and anti-inflammatory factors.
