Selected properties of phosphorus dendrimers: green approaches to catalysis
Anne-Marie Caminade,
Valérie Maraval
Abstract:This review describes the synthesis of polyphosphorhydrazone (PPH) dendrimers, which are highly branched macromolecules, having a phosphorus atom at each branching point. The properties of these PPH dendrimers in the field of catalysis are then described. The review is organized to illustrate in the first part how the specificities of dendrimers could contribute to green chemistry. This concerns in particular the dendritic effect that is an increased efficiency (yield, enantioselectivity, etc.) when the size o… Show more

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
