Abstract:An analysis of the accuracy of the existing phenomenological suspension-viscosity models has been made. A procedure for approximating the viscosity curve by three one-parametric models but identifying only two empirical parameters has been proposed. Phenomenological models most accurately describing experimental data for suspensions of different compositions in the entire range of concentrations of a dispersed phase have been established.Introduction. Numerous empirical and semiempirical equations have been pr… Show more

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
