Abstract:Corrosion inhibitors are substances that protect metal surfaces by forming a protective film to prevent metallic materials in contact with corrosive environments. Inhibitors are created with capability to adsorb onto the metal surface, creating a barrier film, or neutralizing the detrimental effects of corrosive substances.
