Abstract: Nonlinear state estimation is an important aspect of aerospace sensing and navigation. Due to the inherent nonlinearity of flight mechanics, nonlinear filtering techniques such as Extended Kalman Filter (EKF) and Unscented Kalman Filter (UKF) are commonly implemented in aerospace applications.
