Abstract:Rhodamine chemosensors are extremely beneficial to identify and assess the quantity of iron ions (Fe 3+ ) in environmental and biological samples. In the recent past, several rhodamine based chemosensors are specifically developed to detect Fe 3+ ion. Among the ferrous and ferric ions, the ferric ion is expected to display more toxicity, if present, abundantly beyond the limit in the biological system. Similarly, ferric ion in the environment is also a major threat because it can affect both plant and animal k… Show more

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
