Abstract: SUMMARYConcentrated proteins in pancreatic juice could precipitate and plug pancreatic ducts, initiating pancreatic disease. In cystic fibrosis (CF), pancreatic fluid secretion is impaired due to defective anion transport and proteins are hyperconcentrated.
