“…There are many reports that ZIFs were used as adsorbents to remove organic/inorganic contaminant from wastewater, and they showed a great potential application in wastewater treatment. In particular, ZIF‐67 exhibited excellent adsorption capability for the removal of several hazardous pollutants including Cr(VI) (Li, Gao, Ai, & Jiang, ), benzotriazole (Andrew Lin & Lee, ; Wang et al, ), methyl orange (Du et al, ; Yang et al, ), malachite green (Andrew Lin & Chang, ), phenol (Pan et al, ), and 1‐naphthol (Yan, Hu, Chen, Zhang, & Zhou, ). These studies suggested that hydrophobic pore and surface structure and the affinity of cobalt cation in ZIF‐67 were responsible for the excellent adsorption performance.…”
