Abstract: BackgroundDepression is the second most common chronic condition affecting women of reproductive age; 23.4% of women enter pregnancy with depression and use of Selective Serotonin Reuptake Inhibitors (SSRIs) in pregnancy is often necessary for maternal wellbeing.
