Self- and career construction counseling for a gifted young woman in search of meaning and purpose

Abstract: This article reports on career counseling intervention for a purposefully selected, gifted 17year-old young woman. An intrinsic, single-case study approach was implemented. Data were gathered using an integrative qualitative and quantitative approach. After the intervention, the participant displayed an enhanced sense of self-identity and careeridentity.
