In this study, it was aimed to investigate the self-confidence emotional states of university students receiving sports education. The self-confidence scale completed by a total of 315 students was evaluated. The "Self-Confidence Scale" was created and developed by Akın (2007). The scale has two sub-dimensions. Independent t-test, one-way analysis of variance (ANOVA) and LSD tests were used for statistical operations. There was no significant difference between inner self-confidence and outer self-confidence subdimensions and total self-confidence scores according to gender (p>0.05). There was no significant difference in internal self-confidence, external self-confidence and total self-confidence according to age level (p>0.05). There was no significant difference in self-confidence and external self-confidence subdimensions and self-confidence according to the department the students studied (p>0.05). When comparing the self-confidence and its sub-dimensions according to the place of residence of the students, there is a significant difference in the external self-confidence sub-dimension and self-confidence (p<0.05). Students staying at home have better external self-confidence and self-confidence than students staying at dormitories. Conclusion: It was determined that the students of the Faculty of Sports were similar in terms of gender, age category, class and department variables. Students' self-confidence can be considered high. For this reason, students' self-love, self-knowledge, self-expression, self-disclosure and controlling their emotions, setting clear goals for themselves, positive thinking, controlling their emotions, and communication skills can be accepted as good. In addition, students staying at home have better self-confidence than students staying in dormitories. The fact that sports faculty students staying at home have better self-confidence than those staying in dormitories can be attributed to reasons such as being able to move freely and rest well at home. It is recommended that the accommodation places of the students studying at the faculty of sports be arranged in such a way that the athletes can move freely and rest.
