“…This is in line with research conducted by Massaty et al, (2020) which states that teacher self-efficacy on this indicator can be seen by having strong selfconfidence towards self-potential in completing tasks. Machado et al, (2019) stated that the strength of teacher self-efficacy reflects how confident a person is in his or her ability to perform a given task. The teacher's belief in this indicator is closely related to the determination that he will succeed in dealing with a problem (Xie et al, 2020).…”

“…The term "self-efficacy" is used to describe a person's confidence in his or her own abilities to complete a certain task (Meissel and Rubie-Davies, 2016) and is core concept and key factor in social cognitive theory (Schunk and DiBenedetto, 2020). Efficacy beliefs, which are JHTI 7,2 considered as predictors of performance, are the result of a complex process of selfpersuasion (Machado et al, 2019). Individuals' belief systems are linked to how they evaluate emerging technologies and how they embrace them (Ali et al, 2018).…”

“…The use of the CR coefficient is justified by the fact that this is a more robust equation than Cronbach's alpha since it is sensitive to the factorial load of each item in its factor, as well as to the number of items used in each scale (Valentini & Damásio, 2016). A systematic review by Machado et al (2019) on measurement instruments used to assess self-efficacy with volleyball athletes found only results for Cronbach's alpha in these instruments (Blecharz et al, 2014;Guicciardi et al, 2016;Zetou et al, 2012), making it infeasible to compare the results obtained in this study.…”

“…Past research on sport and exercise psychology (Zhu, 1998(Zhu, , 2012, particularly research studies on self-efficacy in volleyball (Machado et al, 2019), have documented a reliance on outdated validation practices and language content of assessment tools, minimal reference to the validity of obtained scores, or incorrectly labeled validity evidence, and/or neglect of validity theory in validation research (Blecharz et al, 2014;Costa et al, 2012;Gomes et al, 2012;Guicciardi et al, 2016;Lox, 1992;Vargas-Tonsing et al, 2003;Zetou et al, 2008Zetou et al, , 2012. Grunnell et al (2014) called for improvements in the measurement instruments used in this discipline.…”
