Studies demonstrate that the well-being of students continues to draw increased global attention. Factors which impact the well-being of learners have been on the rise. Some of the factors include emotional satisfaction, communication, self-esteem, resilience, life satisfaction, amongst others. Well-being is perceived as healthy and fruitful living. This chapter dwells on some personal factors impacting on the well-being of students such as resilience, self-esteem, and life satisfaction. There is a need for interventions geared towards enhancement of the well-being of students in higher education. The university authority and other stakeholders need to pay much attention to activities that foster student well-being to enable them to self-actualize.
