Self-Intersections of Cubic Bézier Curves Revisited

Abstract: Recently, Yu et al. derived a factorization procedure for detecting and computing the potential self-intersection of 3D integral Bézier cubics, claiming that their proposal distinctly outperforms existing methodologies.
