“…As a sustainable energy harvester, triboelectric nanogenerator (TENG) can convert extensively existed low‐frequent and irregular mechanical energy from various mechanical stimuli, including friction, vibration, rotation, and expanding/contracting motions, into electrical energy on the basis of the coupling between contact‐electrification and electrostatic induction effects. [ 16–26 ] Owing to intrinsic merits of various material choices, low cost, simple work mechanism, multiple work modes, as well as high output, and conversion efficiency, TENG could become an optimal option for a reliable self‐sustainable energy harvester and self‐powered sensors.
