Abstract:The combustion of cellulose nitrate (NC) in ballasted mixtures containing an organic binder and nickel hydroxycarbonate (NiOHCO3) or silver carbonate (Ag2CO3) as precursors has been found to produce Ni or Ag nanoparticles.
